Handmade. Upcycled. Fun. Fabulous. Supports bike communities.

Oh boy, do I love bikes. Everything… the exercise, the community, the social connections, the collective energy and enthusiasm. I love getting out in the woods, year-round. I love where my bike has taken me. It has challenged me. Gives me confidence. And always gives me a good time. Is there such a thing as a bad ride?

I am a born and raised Vermont girl who grew up riding bikes. I really got into mountain biking when I was finishing graduate school and really needed a social fitness outlet. My son was riding on the HS team at the time and was a big influence on me getting into riding. So were many of the ladies in GLOW, Glorious Ladies On Wheels, group.

In October of 2020, my friend and I were wrapping up a day at the bike park while practicing some drops in the skills park. Something was off and on one of her runs, she crashed and sustained a spinal cord injury. Two organizations were instrumental in support and guidance: Green Mountain Adaptive Sports (GMAS) and the Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF). This is why I am so passionate about adaptive riding.

I really love encouraging people to get out on bikes! I co-lead a ladies’ ride at my home trail network, Woodstock Area Mountain Bike Association (WAMBA); Aqueduct, Mt Peg & S6.

Vermont has some of the best riding and mountain bike communities. I feel very fortunate to have so many riding options and love being an ambassador for the Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA).

Who knew, all those years ago, that I would fall in love and now ride year-round. But here we are!
